Singer Neha Kakkar is surrounded by controversies due to a concert in Melbourne. The singer is accused of waiting for the fans for 3 hours in Melbourne and then came on stage and wept apologizing. There are also allegations that he did not even perform for 1 hour. After being surrounded by controversies, Neha accused the organizers that they were not given money nor had they stopped and food. Despite this, he gave performance. However, according to the organizers now, the reason for Neha’s arrival late 3 hours was not the arrangement but less crowd. When Neha saw that people are less in her concert, she told the organizers that she would not sing until the stadium is full.
In an interview to Siddharth Kanan recently, Australia concert organizers Paes D and Bikram Singh Randhawa spoke on the controversy. He said that Neha Kakkar was supposed to arrive at the concert at 7:30, but she arrived at 10 am. The crowd was constantly cheering, but when she did not reach, people started getting angry.
Bricam Randhawa said that people had taken time out for that concert. He spent about 15 thousand rupees for a ticket. Bikram said that Neha Kakkar had told the organizer of the Melbourne concert that only 700 people have come, so I will not perform. Neha had said, till the public does not come and the stadium will not be filled, I will not perform.
Neha had accused the organizers through social media that her sound was not checked, due to which the show was delayed. However, Neha’s claim has been described by Bikram Randhawa as baseless. He said that the opening act took place in that show, everything from Mike to Setup was good. What they have spoken, I don’t think it is true. We have seen with our own eyes that the whole setup was done there. The organizer of that show is our friend.
Neha also claimed that the organizers had run away with the money. His team was not even provided arrangements to live and eat. Despite this, he did the show without taking money. On this, Bikram Randhawa said, there were lines of vehicles. Hotels were his books. So where was Madam stayed. Any artist is paid all his fees before calling Australia and he is already booked. I reject his claim.
What was Neha Kakkar’s statement on controversy
After the video of the concert went viral, Neha Kakkar gave clarification on this and said-
They say that she came late for 3 hours, did she even once asked what happened to her? What did they do to him and his band? When I spoke on the stage, I did not tell anyone what happened because I did not want to harm anyone. Who am I to punish someone? But when it is about my name now, I will have to speak. Do you know that I performed free for the people of Melbourne. The Sponsors ran away with the money of me and others. My band was not even given food, water and hotel. My husband and his friends went and provided food. Despite all this, we went on stage and did a show without any rest because my fans were waiting for me for many hours. Do you know that our sound check was stopped. Because even those who were not given money to the sound, they refused to give the sound. We did not even know whether the concert would be able to be possible or not because the organizers had stopped picking up my manager’s call. Because those people had run away with sponsors. There is a lot to share, but I think it will be enough. I want to thank those who said beautifully about me, as if it happened to them only. I will always be grateful to those people who came to my concert and cried with me.
Organizers said- Singer was smoking cigarettes in hotel room
The Melbourne concert’s organizer beat production company claimed that crown towers in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth have banned them. Also told that because Neha and her colleagues smoke in the hotel rooms where all this is forbidden. Also, the company has also told that due to Neha Kakkar, she has lost 4 and a half crores. The company shared a screenshot and presented the proof of this.
