Under the education revolution campaign of the Punjab government, the rejuvenation of schools has started in village Dakti Satkosi in Abohar. Former MLA Arun Narang inaugurated development works worth Rs 83 lakh in two schools in the village.

Work has been done in government high school for Rs 43.18 lakh and Rs 40.60 lakh in primary school. The main objective of these works is to improve the educational facilities of the students. The Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is giving priority to education and health under the ‘Rangla Punjab’ scheme.

First state in more budget of education and health

So far, Rs 2000 crore has been upgraded in the infrastructure of schools in the state. Punjab has become the first state in the country to give the highest importance to education and health improvement in its annual budget. The government is continuously issuing funds for development works and is implementing social welfare schemes effectively.
