Police in Bathinda district have taken major action against the illegal hookah bar. Police Civil Line and Thana Cantt Police carried out a joint operation. The police have registered 4 separate cases and took action against 16 people. 14 of these people have been arrested. Caught

Red in Hangover Restaurant of Puda Market
DSP City-2 Sarabjit Singh Brar said that complaints were being received about serving a license hookah. The police raided the ‘Old School’ cafe at 100 feet road. Many people including Keshav Singla, Tarun Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Ajay Kumar were arrested from here. Inspector Harjot Singh of Thana Civil Line raided the Hangover Restaurant of Puda Market. Gurpreet Singh and Gulab Singh were arrested from here.

Hookah goods recovered
SI Jaskaran Singh of the same police station arrested Amarjeet Singh from Printh Restaurant of Model Town Phase-3. All the arrested accused are accused of serving hookah without permission. Police have also recovered hookahs and related goods from the spot.
