Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe today is counted among the largest franchise in Hindi cinema. But according to Rohit, when he made ‘Singham’ in 2011, he did not know that he was making a brand that will last for years.
Recently, while talking to the game changer show, Rohit said that after ‘Singham’, when the script of ‘Simba’ was being done, he thought why not make it like a universe. During that time, Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Suryavanshi’ was also planned.
Rohit said, ‘Part 2 of Simba will also be made,’ Suryavanshi ‘will also move forward. More people will join and films will be made in this universe. For this reason, we have created this universe.
The idea of ’Singham Again’ was ready in 2019
Shetty told that when he was shooting for ‘Suryavanshi’ in 2019, he had planned a multi-starrer film. At that time, he had decided how the new characters would come and how his story would move forward.
