Baba Ramdev launched Patanjali’s syrup on 3 April. During this time, he used the word syrup jihad in VIDEO.
The Delhi High Court on Tuesday expressed displeasure over the video in which Baba Ramdev used the word syrup jihad. Justice Amit Bansal said that this statement is not worthy. This shook the inter -soul of the court.
After the court rebuke, Patanjali Founder Ramdev said that we will remove all such videos in which religious comments have been made. Court Ramdev has also been ordered to file affidavits.
Baba Ramdev launched Patanjali’s syrup on 3 April. He said on the social media platform x that a company makes syrup. The money that is received from it makes madrasas and mosques. Baba Ramdev had said that just as love jihad and vote jihad is going on, so sherbat jihad is also going on.
Against this, Ruh Afja Sharbat maker Hamdard filed a petition in the Delhi High Court. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi argued on behalf of the company. Rohatgi said that this is an attack on the name of religion.
Patanjil Sharbat Launching Video
On 3 April, Ramdev launched Patanjali Sharbat. During this time, the sorbet was commented.
High Court said- keep such things to yourself, do not reveal
On behalf of Patanjali, Advocate Rajiv Nair said that we will remove all videos. After this, the court said that Ramdev should give an affidavit that such rhetoric will not make further. The court said that Ramdev should limit such things to his mind, do not reveal them.
Hamdard said- Ramdev’s statement like Hate Speech
Rohatgi said that Ramdev has attacked the Hamdard Company on the basis of religion through his statement. He named the syrup jihad. Ramdev’s name is famous, without the evil of any other product, he can sell Patanjali goods. This statement has surpassed evil, it does religious partition. Ramdev’s comment is similar to the Hate Speech.
Rohatgi reminded of the case of misleading advertisements and said that the Supreme Court had ordered Ramdev and Balakrishna to apologize to the people. Rohatgi said that confusion was spread among the people through advertisements and also made statements against allopathic medicines.
Ramdev made 2 statements during the promotion of syrup
1. Masjid-Marasaras makes a syrup company
Ramdev posted a 10 -minute video on social media x on 3 April. In the video, Ramdev promoted Patanjali’s syrup. He said- A company makes syrup, the money that is received from it makes madrasas and mosques. If you drink that syrup, mosques and madrasas will be built.
2. If you drink Patanjali Sharbat, you will become Gurukul
Ramdev had said that if you drink Patanjali’s syrup, then Gurukul will become, Acharya will become Kulam. Patanjali University and Board of Education of Indian Education will move forward. I say that this syrup is jihad. Just as love jihad and vote jihad is going on, similarly ‘Sharbat jihad’ is also going on.
When the controversy increased, on April 12, Ramdev posted another video. In this, Ramdev said, ‘I put a video, everyone got chilly. Thousands of videos were made against me. It was said that I left the new Shigufa of Sherbet Jihad. Hey, what I left, this is. These people run love jihad, land jihad, vote jihad, many types of jihad. I am not saying that he is a terrorist, but it is definitely that he has allegiance to Islam.
Shahabuddin Barelvi said- Baba Ramdev is running yoga jihad
All India Muslim Jamaat President Maulana Shahabuddin Rajvi Barelvi criticized Ramdev’s statement.
Maulana Shahabuddin Rajavi Barelvi, president of All India Muslim Jamaat on Ramdev’s Sherbet Jihad dispute, said on April 14 that Ramdev should promote his sherbet a lot, but do not add the spirit of Hamdard Company to Jihad.
Maulana Shahabuddin Rajvi said that if he has become so much loved by the word ‘Jihad’ that he has started counting a list of love jihad, sherbet jihad, land jihad, then if someone can turn about them that yoga jihad, guru jihad, Patanjali jihad, then how will they feel?
Congress leader Digvijay Singh said- Sahara to hate to increase sales Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh hit back on the statement of Baba Ramdev on 15 April. He had said that yoga guru Ramdev is resorting to religion and hatred to increase the sales of his product. With this, efforts are being made to spread communal tension in the country.
Digvijay Singh has also complained about this against Baba Ramdev at the police station. He said that the Congress party would oppose such hate statements from Parliament to the road.
