An envelope thrown after seeing the police
According to the police, assistant SHO Sukhwinder Singh was on patrol. They reached Johri Temple Link Road from Killaswali bypass road. During this, a young man was terrified to see the police. He threw an envelope caught in his hand and tried to run away. The police caught the young man. When examined the envelope, it was found to be 100 pills. The arrested accused has been identified as Kulwant Singh, son of Arshdeep Singh of Sarabha Nagar.
Case under NDPS Act
The police have registered a case against the accused under Section 22 of the NDPS Act. The police will soon present the accused in the court and demand remand. According to police officials, Arshdeep was wanted in the case of 2 kg of heroin in Padampur.
