Police reached the spot and arrested all four. The accused were identified as Sukhpal Singh, Harpreet Singh (both District Sangrur), Sampoorna Kalyan (Kot Isse Khan) and Daljit Singh (Moga). During the search, the police recovered three indigenous pistols (32 bore), four magazines and seven live cartridges from them.
Police investigation revealed that accused Sukhpal Singh already had five other cases registered. The police have registered a case against all the accused at Kot Isse Khan police station and started further action. SSP Gandhi said that the police is constantly monitoring anti -social elements.
