Last Thursday (March 20) incident. Father and daughter used to work in liquor store.
An Indian -origin father and daughter were shot dead in Virginia, USA. The deceased Pradeep Patel (56) and his daughter Urvi (24) worked in a store.
On Thursday morning, Pradeep and Urvi had opened the store when a black man opened fire on both of them and escaped. Pradeep died on the spot, while Urvi succumbed during treatment.
Police said that on the day of the incident, the accused was sitting outside the store all night. In the morning, the store entered inside and fired on both. Two hours after the incident, the police arrested him.

The accused was angry at not opening the store at night
According to the police, the murder accused George Frasier said in interrogation that he had come to get liquor at night, but the store was closed. He was angry with why the store was not open at night. That is why he sat outside the store overnight and shot both in the morning.

Pradeep Patel was originally from Kanoda village in Mahesana district in Gujarat. Here he used to run electronic shops. 7 years ago, he settled in America with wife Hansaben and daughter Urvi. He and his daughter worked in a store in Virginia.
Store owner Patesh Patel told that Pradeep is my cousin. My stores used to handle Pradeepbhai and Urvi. On Thursday morning, I came to know about the accident on the phone.

The second daughter lives in Ahmedabad and third in Canada
The uncle of the deceased lives in Kanoda, Chandubhai Mahesana. He said that Pradeepbhai’s daughter Urvi was married to a Gujarati youth, living in America three years ago and originally in America. Pradeepbhai’s second daughter lives in Ahmedabad and third daughter in Canada.
