There were 2 cases of Janeu dispute

First case: told the student in Bidar- Janeu cut Student Suchivrat Kulkarni, who went to give exam in Bidar, Karnataka, said, “On April 17, I had a CET exam of Math. When I reached the exam center, the college management investigated me and saw my janeu.

They told me to cut or remove it, only then they will let me sit in the exam. I kept requesting him for 45 minutes, but finally I had to come back home. My demand is that the government should conduct the exam again or give me a seat in a government college.

Second case: In Shivamoga, the student took off 3 students’ janeu According to the police, the security staff asked three students to take off the janeu at the Adichunchanagiri PU College Exam Center. When a student refused, he was stopped. While two other students removed Janeu before entering the examination hall.

Examination employees claim- did not ask to remove any thread A senior police officer said that, when we questioned the college officials, he said that the building has been given only to conduct the exam on his behalf. They have no role in organizing or facilitating the intensity exam.

At the same time, the employees of the examination center claimed that they did not ask any student to take off their shirt or holy thread. According to the rule, he only asked him to take off Kashi Dhara (the holy thread worn around the wrist).

There was a Common Entrance Test (CET) in Karnataka. The government here asked some students to take off ‘Janeu’ and at one place it is alleged that it was cut. This is very condemnable. The concerned authority has regretted but what about the child who was not allowed to appear in the examination? You have to find a solution.

BJP MP from Shivamoga BY Raghavendra also condemned the incident. He said that this is injustice. I strongly condemn this. Whether such an incident happened intentionally or unknowingly. The government should take action to ensure that this does not happen again.

Such incidents against Hinduism are happening frequently. Measures should be taken to prevent such incidents in future. Whoever is responsible, the government should take action against them.

Education Minister said- We respect the faith of all religions Karnataka Higher Education Minister Dr. MC Sudhakar said- This incident is very unfortunate. It happened not only in Shivamoga but also in Bidar. The process went smoothly at all other places, except two centers.
