West Bengal Governor C.V. Anand Bose and National Women’s Commission (NCW) team will visit the violence affected Murshidabad on Saturday i.e. April 19. He said- I will take stock of the ground situation in Murshidabad. Whatever happened there is shocking. Peace should be established at any cost. He also talked about submitting its report to the central government.

The Governor also spoke of meeting the family of 3 people who lost their lives in violence. After reaching Malda, the Governor said- It is the responsibility of the state government to maintain law and order. If the state needs help, we are ready to send the center force.

On this, West Bengal BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul said- What happened in Murshidabad was going to open eyes. Jihadi Sanatani people’s houses, shops and temples are burning. Is this Syria, Afghanistan or Pakistan?

Paul demanded the National Investigation Agency for investigation. Paul said- People should know what was really happened and what was the role of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Meanwhile, the National Commission for Women (NCW) visited Malda’s relief camps on Friday. NCW President Vijaya Rahatkar reached Kolkata on Thursday. He said- The purpose of this visit is to boost the morale of women suffering from violence.

On the other hand, the Governor of Bengal C.V. Anand Bose visited a relief camp in Lalpur across Malda district on Friday and assured appropriate action. The governor had said- ‘I met family members living in the camp. Hearing his complaints and understood emotions. He also told me what they want. ‘

Mamta requested the Governor to postpone the tour

On April 17, CM Mamata Banerjee requested the Governor to postpone the tour. Mamta said- I will request non-local people not to visit Murshidabad right now. I will appeal to the Governor to wait a few more days.

On the other hand, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is demanding to impose President’s rule in West Bengal over violence. VHP workers will protest all over the country on Saturday. VHP President Alok Kumar said that by submitting a memorandum to the District Magistrates at every district headquarters across the country, the central government should consider imposing President’s rule in West Bengal.

On 17 April, the bench leader of Justice Saumen Sen and Justice Raja Basu Chaudhary heard the petition of Suvendu Adhikari. The lawyer appearing for the Center had demanded to increase the deployment of CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) in Murshidabad in view of sensitivity.

At the same time, Mamta Sarkar presented a report. In this, the Mamta government claimed that the situation in the violence affected Murshidabad district is now under control. The court warned the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Trinamool Congress (TMC) and all other parties not to make any inflammatory statements. The court said, “Please do not give any inflammatory speech. This instruction is not only for any one person, but for everyone.”

News agency PTI reported that the violence in Murshidabad included Bangladeshi fundamentalist, which helped local leaders of a political party. Muslim Personal Law Board announced, demonstration will run for 87 days

The first phase of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) ‘Waqf Rescue Campaign’ will start from April 11 and will run for 7 July i.e. 87 days. In this, 1 crore signatures will be made in protest against the Waqf law, which will be sent to PM Modi. After this, the strategy of the next phase will be decided.
