According to District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr. Aman Kaushal, a complaint was received against Jaspreet Singh, the owner of Rahmat Ayurvedic dispensary. It was alleged that he was playing with the health of the people by misleading. Jaspreet advertised and selling domestic medicines and sex medicines on social media.

Samples failed in lab investigation

The department raided the dispensary. Samples of some drugs were found to fail in the investigation in the government lab of Patiala. The dispensary was then sealed on the recommendation of higher officials. SHO of Mahal Kalan police station, Jagjit Singh said that a case has been registered against Jaspreet Singh on the complaint of the department. Efforts are on to arrest him.

Dr. Kaushal said that such fake dispensaries running in villages and cities will be closely monitored. Legal action will be taken against those who do wrong things.
