The focus of my parents was on my overall growth. Apart from studies, he also included me in the rest of the activity. I was the head girl in school. I have played the national level in basketball. I was the captain of the girls team. My team also won gold at the Basketball Girls Championship.
As a child, I had to become the first IAS officer. Then after a short time I had to become an aeronaut. It was interested in gymnastics and it was a dream to become a gymnast for some time. There were different dreams about career in childhood. I have learned many different forms of dance. The most difficult of these was Bharatanatyam. This is the most difficult dance form. In such a situation, I used to perform live in school for hours. I have also mastered ballet, Kathak, jazz, hip-hop dance form.
I could win the beauty pageant so wanted to grow up quickly
There was an atmosphere of studies in the house and I was a child. There were only toppers around me. My circle was like this. Amidst all this, I knew about the beauty contest through TV. I used to look at Miss World, Miss Universe Competition. Must have been 11–12 years old, ever since I started imagining myself there.
At that time I did not have heels, I used to wear a friend’s mother’s heels and catwalk. Me and my friend also rehearsed the question-winner rounds in competition. At that age, I used to think when I would be 18 years old that I could join the competition.
Apart from Bollywood, Urvashi has done Tamil, Telugu and Bengali films.
Miss Teen became at the age of 15 years
I won my first beauty pageant at a very young age. The story of the first beauty pageant is something like that my friend saw the ads of Miss Teen. At that time there were no facilities like smartphones, laptops. At that time there were cyber cafes. I had a mobile set of virgin, on which only messages could come and go.
My friend uploaded one of my photos on the website of Miss Teen India. It was a studio photo, in which I was wearing jeans-tshirt. When he told me, I thought what would happen. So many girls participate.
Then my summer vacation started. My mother, a skin expert, had a press conference with Dr. Blossom Kochhar in Delhi. We came to Delhi from Haridwar for that. Mom was busy with her press conference, when I came to know that the hotel where the press conference is going on, there was an audition for Miss Teen.
I also reached there in jeans-tshirt and sports shoes that day. There were at least thousand girls who were in proper makeup and dress code. Even at that time I came to feel that I would not be. The audition was being done by Miss World Diana Hayden, designer Rocky S Judge. When he announced five names, there was a name in it. I was shocked how this happened. In this way my beauty queen’s journey started.
World record of winning the highest beauty pageant
It was the time of 2009 and when I became Miss Teen India. Then I won the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International in China. Miss Universe India won for the first time in 2012. Miss Universe India again became again in 2015. When I won one beauty pageant after another, I did not know myself. I am the only girl in the world to win the most beauty title. In this way my name joined the world record.
Recently the Government of Andaman and Nicobar Islands honored me. He named a flower after my name. Urvashi temple is built in my name one kilometer from the famous Badrinath temple in Uttarakhand.
Within the last year and a half, I have worked with three big superstars of South like Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan. I wish that now my temple should also be built in South. In the Hindu College of Delhi, students have worshiped me as Damdami Mai. This is an annual worship in which students chose me.

I made my Bollywood debut in the year 2013 with Sunny Deol with the film ‘Singh Saab the Great’. After that he became part of many good films. It was only three-four years since I came to the industry, when I did a song for the film ‘Kaabil’ in the year 2017. That song was a remake of the song Amitabh Bachchan Sir. The audience has given his love for this song, Big B also liked that song. He praised me for this song. Getting praise from him was like a dream come true.

This year, my Telugu film ‘Daku Maharaja’ came with actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. I was very excited about his success. Then Saif Ali Khan was attacked. In an interview, I was asked a question related to this. When I talked about the success of my film, people trolled me fiercely. People trolled, but that one clip gave me a chance to promote paid with Amazon.
After this controversy, Amazon people approached me for paid promotion. He did a research on brand promotion. After the success of the film ‘Daku Maharaja’, I have gifted myself Rolls Royal Kalinan. I am the first actress to do so in India. Apart from me in the industry, it is only with Shahrukh Khan. I will consider it as my achievements.
251 girls got married, media did not show them I accept my birthday abroad every year. This year, on the occasion of my birthday, I went to Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh and got 251 girls married. All those girls were orphans. I took up the responsibility of their marriage. I took the wedding garlands by myself. Wedding food like dal-rice made itself. Serve sweets to the guests.
