According to the information, 3 kg 105 grams of heroin has been recovered from 21 -year -old Jobanjit Singh. Its price has been estimated at Rs 21 crore in the international market. SP Gurpreet Singh of ANTF Border Range said that two indigenous pistol 32 bore, five revolvers and two magazines have also been found from the accused.
Used to work as a security guard
Also, 25 rounds of 32 bore, 12 round 12 bore and an electronic device have been recovered. Jobanjeet, a resident of Sursingh, used to work as a security guard in Amritsar. He was preparing to go to Portugal. According to the police, the accused was active in drug trafficking for the last 6 months. He used to get heroin from Pakistan through drones.
Police said that cases were registered against the accused in several police stations. He is also wanted at Bhikhi Wind Police Station. The accused will be produced in court and strict questioning will be done.
