A tractor-trolley and car collided with stubble-laden tractor and car collided late at Malecotla Road in Khanna. Vimal Kaul, deputy general manager of KRBL India Limited Dhuri Plant, died in the accident. The tractor driver Khushdeep Singh escaped from the spot.

According to the information, the incident took place near Ekolaha village at 11.15 pm. Vimal Kaul was going to Dhuri in Volkswagen car. His brother Vishal Kaul was behind him in the Etose car. Vishal is a gym trainer in Jalandhar. The driver of the tractor-trolley, who was going ahead, suddenly cut the cut. This collided with Vimal’s car and fell into the fields.

Hospital delivered with the help of passers -by
Vimal was bleeding from his head. He was taken to Civil Hospital Khanna with the help of tractor driver and passers -by. Doctors declared him dead. The tractor driver then escaped. Vimal lived in Savitri Greens on VIP Road, Zirakpur. Seeing Vimal injured there, the brother got nervous and sat on the road there. By the time the brother reached the hospital, the accused had run away.
Police engaged in investigation
SHO Sukhwinderpal Singh said that both damaged vehicles have been taken into possession. The search for the accused driver is going on. Vimal’s body has been handed over to family members after the post -mortem. The police have registered a case against the accused driver.
