The diamond ‘Golconda Blue’ associated with India’s royal heritage is going to be sold in the auction for the first time. It is a shiny blue diamond of 23.24 carats, which has been hit by a beautiful Paris jewelery designer JAR in a beautiful ring.
It will be auctioned on 14 May in Geneva, a auction company called Christies. Its price is estimated between Rs 300 to 430 crore ($ 35 to 50 million). Christies say that such special and royal diamonds come very rarely to sell.
Even before this, he has auctioned some historical Golconda diamonds, such as – Archduk Joseph, Princi and Vitailsbakh diamonds.

This diamond was near Maharaja Yashwant Rao Holkar of Indore
This pear -shaped diamond is associated with the monarchy of India. According to Christies, this diamond was near Maharaja Yashwant Rao Holkar (Indore). Maharaj Yashwant Rao Holkar was known for his luxury and international lifestyle in the 1920s.
This diamond was bought by Indore Pears diamonds from Yashwant Rao’s father Paris’s famous jewelery brand Somat. In 1923, he made a bracelet with his 23 -carat shaped blue diamond with a shamate.
In 1933, Maharaja Yashwant Rao appointed Mobusen as his official jeweler. Mubrosen molded his jewelry into the new design. He created a long necklace, which included both Golconda Blue and Indore Pierce.
It was worn by the Queen of Indore, whose painting was made by famous painter Bernard Bute De Monwell.
King of Diamond Harry Winston sold with new design
American jeweler Harry Winston, known as King of Diamond, bought Indore Pierce in 1946 and Blue Diamond in 1947. He later set it in a brooch. It also had a 23 carat white diamond. This brooch was later bought by the Maharaja of Baroda. Later, Harry Winston bought it again and sold it twice with a new design.
After about 80 years, it is going to be auctioned once again once again.
