The protesting teachers have demanded to make the OMR sheet of SSC exam public, so that qualified candidates can be identified.
After the Supreme Court’s decision in the West Bengal Teacher Recruitment Scam, the Trinamool government has taken the middle way. 25,753 teachers are stranded in the scam. The School Service Commission (SSC) has sent the list of 19 thousand qualified teachers to the state department of education.
Around 7 thousand teachers, who were working till the scam were exposed, only they would be disqualified. The state government may soon make public the names of qualified teachers. However, the teachers have demanded the release of the list by 21 April. With this, they are going to start a sit -in in Delhi from 16 April.
On April 3, the Supreme Court upheld the decision of the Kolkata High Court associated with the scam. The High Court had canceled the 2016 teacher and staff recruitment as illegal. The High Court had said that the recruitment process had large -scale disturbances.

CBI sorted 19 thousand eligible candidates A SSC official told Bhaskar that the CBI had recovered a hard disk from a former employee of Nyasa Communication, a former employee of Nyasa Communication, who conducted the 2016 recruitment examination.
The disc consisted of scan copies of OMR sheet. The server seized from the SSC office also contained some data. About 22 lakh candidates appeared in that examination. The 19 thousand names that have been decided right now have been prepared by the CBI by looking at the mirror image of the OMR sheet.
At the same time, the agitating teachers have demanded that the government release mirror images of all OMR sheets. This will reveal the truth of qualified and unqualified itself. On this, the Education Department says that it is not possible to release the mirror image of sheets, because SSC does not have any OMR sheet.
