Hrithik Roshan did not have photoshoot money: other directors used to audition, father said, make a career on his own

Before his debut film ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’, Hrithik Roshan used to go to the director and audition. Once when he went to audition for Shekhar Kapoor’s film Ta Ra Rum Pam Pam and Rakesh Roshan came to know about this, he scolded Hrithik Roshan. He scolded Hrithik Roshan and said that do not do such things.

Hrithik Roshan is currently in discussion about his upcoming film ‘Krrish 4’. Hrithik is making his direction debut through this film. During the meat and greeting event in New Jersey, Hrithik told that he is feeling a little nervous about this. During this, the actor also shared an anecdote related to his debut film ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’.

Hrithik Roshan said that it was not easy for him to start a career as an actor. His father Rakesh Roshan told him that he should make his own life and do not expect to make a film from him. Hrithik grew up knowing that his father would never compromise his work to make a film for him. He really had to be worth it.

Hrithik Roshan told- There came a time when I felt that I did not deserve it. I used to go out and audition. I went to my friend Dabboo Ratnani and did a photo session. I did not have the money to give him, I said that if I earn some good money after becoming an actor, I will return you the money, he said don’t worry about it.

The actor further said- I auditioned for many filmmakers and one of them was Shekhar Kapoor. He was taking my audition for the film ‘Ta Ra Rum Pam Pam’. Then my father came to know, he called me during the audition and called me back. However, it did not become a film. I think my father was sad that someone else is going to make a film with his son. After that he started ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ with me.

Talking about Hrithik Roshan’s work front, his film ‘War 2’ will be released on 14 August 2025. In this film, Hrithik shared the screen with South Superstar Junior NTR and Kiara Advani. The film is directed by Ayan Mukherjee. While its first part was directed by Siddharth Anand. Apart from ‘War 2’, Hrithik will also be seen in the film ‘Krrish 4’, Hrithik himself will be directed by Hrithik.
