A major terrorist plot has been foiled in Punjab. The Special Cell of Delhi Police has achieved great success. Delhi Police has busted an international and interstate Pakistan-backed gangster-turned-terrorist module and arrested three accused. One of the arrested accused belongs to Punjab.
Big revelations are expected in this regard now. The accused will be questioned strictly. According to information, they also launched a grenade attack outside the police station in Gurdaspur. The police said that the wires of this module are connected to Pakistan. The main leader of this gang is said to be Shahjad Bhatti, who is a Pakistani gangster and he was operating it while sitting there. The wires of all the three arrested accused are connected to the areas of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, Murdabad and Madhya Pradesh. This network was recruiting youth in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

The main target of this network was Delhi-NCR, where it was planning to carry out explosive attacks, police said. Suspects linked to Punjab are believed to be prominent in smuggling arms and explosives using gangster networks.
