Three policemen were killed in an attack by terrorists on a check post in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Wednesday. The officers provided this information. District police officer Khan Zaib said the attack took place at the Kazi Talab police check post in Hangu district, when terrorists fired at the security personnel from a nearby mountain.
The police immediately retaliated, after which a fierce firing started. However, three policemen were killed in the firing. Jaib said that heavy police force has been deployed in the area to search for the attackers. Chief Minister Sohail Afridi strongly condemned the attack and ordered additional security forces to be sent to the spot without any delay.
