Punjab government has released the holiday calendar for the year 2026. According to the calendar, there will be 31 public holidays in 2026, five of which fall on Sundays.
Government offices, municipal offices, schools, colleges and other government branches will remain closed during these holidays. There is a public holiday in the month of January. This time it will be on Monday, January 26. There will be two holidays in the month of February, but both fall on Sundays. Sri Guru Ravidas Jayanti is on February 1 and Mahashivratri is on February 15.

There are five public holidays each in March and April. This calendar has been prepared by the Personnel Department of the Punjab Government. There will be 13 reserved holidays in this calendar.
