Influencer and content creator Orhaan Avatramani, popularly known as Orri, was recently summoned by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police Crime Branch in connection with a Rs 252 crore drugs case. After initially seeking more time to present himself, the social media personality finally appeared before investigators for questioning on Wednesday. Ori was called for questioning by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Police Crime Branch on the basis of the statement of accused Salim Sheikh, arrested in the drugs case.

Ori arrived for questioning in the drugs case

In the video going viral on social media, Ori is seen commenting on the crowd outside the interrogation center from inside his car. As soon as he came out, he was attacked by the mob. Ory had to push past the crowd and go inside, where officers surrounded him.On November 25, Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhant Kapoor was also called for questioning in this case.

Ori was last week asked to appear before the Ghatkopar unit of the Mumbai Police’s anti-narcotics unit for questioning in the Rs 252 crore drugs case. He had requested to change the date citing that he was not in the city. Amidst the summons, she was also seen with her friends at Travis Scott’s Mumbai concert.

According to sources, accused Salim Shaikh, arrested in the Rs 252 crore MD drugs case, mentioned Ori and Alisha Parkar, nephew of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. She reportedly said that Ori and Alishah are good friends, and that the social media influencer used to take drugs and go to parties with drugs.
Police sources also said that people involved in this drug network (both buyers and sellers) used platforms like Zengi, Signal, Trima, Instagram and FaceTime for communication. Sources have also claimed that all the people associated with Bollywood and politics named by Sheikh can be called for questioning.
In his statement, Sheikh also took the names of many well-known Bollywood personalities, including Shraddha Kapoor, her brother Siddhant Kapoor, producer-director Abbas-Mustan, former MLA Zeeshan Siddiqui, actor-dancer Nora Fatehi, Ori, Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar’s son Alisha Parkar and rapper Loka.
