Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa has been caught in controversies for shooting a film in a mosque at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. The Muslim community and the Sikh community have objected to it. The Muslim community has given a demand letter to Shahi Imam Ludhiana in this regard and demanded to take appropriate action against the related persons.
Let us tell you that it has been alleged that Sonam Bajwa has been accused of shooting the film “Pit Syapa” in a mosque in Sirhind. Shahi Imam Muhammad Usman Ludhianawi called it blasphemous and strongly opposed the cast of the film.
The movie “Pit Siyappa” will release on May 1, 2026. In a press conference on Monday, the Shahi Imam said that firing at the mosque crossed all limits of blasphemy. Food and drink were consumed there. This is an insult. Indecent scenes were filmed in a mosque.

The Shahi Imam said that the mosque comes under the Archeology Department, yet the firing took place there. Action should also be taken against the authorizing authority.
