Is ‘The Family Man’ 3 better or equal to the first two seasons?
Unfortunately, season 3 of ‘The Family Man’ has not been able to match the standards set by the team during the first two editions. The third season, despite delving deeper into the story and bringing in experienced and seasoned actors, lacked the fun and exciting vibe of the show. Let’s take a look at some of the factors that have impacted the third part.
Emotional Quotient: It is important to note that the first two seasons of The Family Man were loved because the show had the right level of humour, thrill and suspense. But this time Raj and DK focused more on the emotional quotient of the show, which has affected the tone and grip of the show.

A Long Season: The storyline of The Family Man in the last two seasons keeps the show interesting right from the first episode. But unfortunately this time, that interest is also missing. The show takes its time to get you interested in the show. It all starts getting interesting from the fourth episode onwards and in the first three episodes it’s just links, links. Therefore, the 8-episode series may seem too long to some people.
Writing outweighs acting: As mentioned earlier, the show stars critically acclaimed actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharib Hashmi, Nimrat Kaur and Priyamani. Jaideep and Manoj are on top of their game as always but there are many shortcomings in the storyline which cannot be compensated with good acting.
Therefore, after watching the third season of The Family Man, one might think that it is worth watching just once. But it is better than the sub-standard series released every other day. However, The Family Man 3 does not live up to the expectations set by the makers in the first two seasons.
