Accused caught in police custody
The police again produced both the accused who fired on Raja Dhaba on the Ludhiana-Firozepur highway in Jagraon. The police have taken two more remand from the court for deep investigation.

In this case, the accused have made many big revelations in the inquiry made by the police so far. Both the accused carried out the crime at the behest of gangster Lucky Patial. During interrogation, the accused said that they were asked to firing only bullets in the air. The motive was to scare the dhaba owner. After this, there was a call for extortion.
Moga police recovered 2 pistols
Bus stand outpost in -charge Sukhwinder Singh said that Moga police arrested Malkit Singh alias Mannu resident Dosanjh and Manpreet Singh Mani resident village Talwandi Bhugaria after an encounter. Two pistols used in Jagraon incidents were recovered from both. After this, the Jagraon police started questioning both of them by bringing them to Jagraon on production warrant.
The police are yet to recover two more pistols, as the accused used four pistols in the incident on Raja Dhaba. The Moga police have recovered only two pistols.
According to police sources, both the accused carried out the crime at the behest of gangster Lucky Patial. According to the plan, both the accused rode in the car and reached Dhaba. Standing in the parking lot, both of them started firing with pistols in their hands. After this, the accused rode in the car and escaped towards Moga.
Manpreet was working for Patial and Bambiha gang
The investigating officer said that accused Manpreet alias Mani said that Lucky was working for Lucky Patial and Davinder Bambiha gang after coming out on bail from Faridkot jail on 24 January 2025. The accused has been registered with several cases including kidnapping and robbery attempt to murder. The same case is also registered on the second Malkit Singh.
Accused Malkit Manu, along with Manpreet alias Mani, attacked his opponent on 19 February 2025 in Moga village Kapura, killing a person and shot in a woman’s leg.
The police is trying to find out from the accused who were delivered to them. So that the police can also include it in the case.
Let me tell you that the incident took place late night of 26 February. At that time, two youths who suddenly got out of the car at the king dhaba started firing by taking out the pistol. This caused panic in the area. The Jagraon police had registered a case against unknown people on the complaint of Parminder Singh and started an investigation.
