The dismissed constable Amandeep Kaur, known as Insta-Queen, has got a big relief from the High Court. He has been granted regular bail by the court in a case registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Justice Aman Chaudhary’s court on November 17 ordered the release of Amandeep Kaur on bail.
On May 26, vigilance had registered a case of assets in excess of income against Amandeep Kaur. During the hearing, the petitioner’s senior counsel told the court that Amandeep Kaur was in custody for about six months. According to the state detention certificate, he was in jail for 5 months and 19 days.
Granting bail, the court noted that the challan in the case was produced on November 14, 2025 but the charges have not been framed yet. There are a total of 46 witnesses in the case, due to which the trial is likely to take a long time. It was also noted that he is out on bail in another NDPS Act case.

The court ordered Amandeep Kaur to be released on regular bail, but she will have to submit a surety/security bond before the trial court/duty magistrate and comply with several conditions. These conditions include not tampering with evidence during the trial, not pressuring or intimidating trial witnesses, not leaving the country without the permission of the trial court, and not changing one’s address and mobile number until the trial is over.
