Loan will be available from cooperative bank in Punjab, Pawan Tinu started from Jalandhar

Former MLA from Adampur and AAP leader Pawan Tinu launched cooperative bank loan scheme in Jalandhar. On Thursday, he visited the Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank, where he handed over loan checks of Rs 1 crore to 22 farmers from different districts of Punjab. He also announced that education loans will also be given through cooperative societies.

Tinu said that affordable loans from cooperative banks were stopped for the last three and a half years, but now they have been restored. He said that the loan process has been restarted on the instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Sidhu. For the first time since independence, the AAP government has given more than Rs 918 crore to the bank. Tinu said that significant changes are being made in the bank in the coming years. Education loans will also be launched soon.

He said that loans are being given at lower interest rates than other banks in this bank. Similarly, loan checks will also be handed over to other farmers. Loan processing has started in all bank branches of Punjab from today. During this period farmers from Moga, Amritsar and other districts reached Jalandhar.

Pawan Tinu said that people were demanding the reactivation of cooperative societies for a long time. As a result the loan process has been restarted. Cooperative societies across Punjab have started disbursing loans. Now, farmers across Punjab can apply for loans.

Loans will be given to all the loan candidates after the scrutiny. Even earlier, cooperative banks have helped the farmers of Punjab. These banks have served the farmers a lot.
