Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. According to reports, the 89-year-old actor was admitted on Monday, November 10, although details about his health are not clear yet. The family has not yet issued any official statement.The veteran actor’s team has confirmed that he is hospitalised, but there is nothing to worry about. Refuting rumors of him being on ventilator support, his team told India Today, “He is under observation, but there is nothing to worry about.”

This news comes just a week after Dharmendra went to the same hospital for a routine checkup. At the time, his wife, actress and politician Hema Malini, had assured everyone that he was fine. When he was seen at the airport and photographers asked about his condition, he smiled and waved “I’m fine”, even folding his hands in gratitude for their concern.
At the time, a source close to the family had earlier said, “Yes, Dharmendra is currently in Breach Candy hospital, but there is nothing to worry about. The actor is in fine health and frequently visits the hospital for regular medical check-ups, which is why he is in the hospital right now. It seems that someone might have seen him there, which has sent his fans into a frenzy, but there is nothing to worry about as he is absolutely fine.”

Over the years, Dharmendra has been one of the most beloved figures of Indian cinema, loved for his warmth on and off screen. Known as the He-Man of Bollywood, he has been inspiring generations with his energy and humility. Even in his late eighties, the actor has been a regular presence in films and on social media, and often shares sentimental posts with his fans.
On the work front, Dharmendra will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s film “Ikkis” opposite Agastya Nanda. The film is a war drama based on the life of Param Vir Chakra winner Arun Khetrapal.
