Amid concerns of rising racism and xenophobia against immigrants in Canada, a disturbing video has emerged from a McDonald’s outlet in Toronto. The footage shows an intoxicated man allegedly attacking a man of Indian origin without any provocation.
In this video going viral on social media, a Caucasian Canadian man wearing a Toronto Blue Jays jacket suddenly approaches an Indian-origin man standing near the ‘Mobile Order Pick Up’ counter and pushes him, causing his phone to fall.

When the victim calmly picks up his phone, the attacker grabs his collar and pushes him back. He was heard accusing the victim of ‘getting superior’.
The Indian man merely attempted self-defense without retaliating. The attack was stopped when another man intervened and asked the two to take the fight ‘outside’. The attacker continued accusing him of arrogance, after which he was thrown out of the place.
