The Air India plane crash is back in the news, but this time the story is particularly disturbing. On June 12, 241 people were killed in the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, while only one person Vishwashkumar Ramesh could survive this tragic accident. But behind this ‘miracle’ his life is broken, because he has also lost his brother Ajaykumar in the same accident.
Let us tell you that Vishwashkumar was sitting on seat 11A, which was near the emergency exit. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff and hit a medical hostel building. Somehow he saved his life by jumping from the plane, while his brother died on the spot. According to available information, Vishwaskumar is in deep shock after this accident and his life is completely shattered.
He says that after the accident he is mentally and physically broken. He no longer comes out of the house and spends all his time alone in his room. Vishwash Kumar, who lives with his family in Leicester, UK, while talking to Sky News, said that he still thinks about his brother. According to him, after the accident his behavior towards his son has also changed and he is not able to talk to him properly.
It is noteworthy that during his treatment, Air India has given him an interim assistance amount of about 21,500 pounds (about Rs 21.9 lakh), but his family and advisors say that this amount is not enough to get his life back on track. Vishwaskumar and his brother had started a fish farming business in India with all their savings, but after the accident, that too has come to a standstill.
At the same time, senior Tata Group officials and Air India representatives have said that they are in constant touch with the families affected by the accident and are committed to providing necessary assistance. However, Vishwash Kumar’s representatives are demanding direct talks with the CEO of Air India so that they can put forward their problems.
Let us tell you that in this plane crash, not only 241 passengers and crew members died, but 19 other people present on the ground also lost their lives. This incident is considered to be one of the biggest air accidents in the recent history of India, the wounds of which are still green and the answers to the questions are still incomplete.
