A man was brutally murdered in Ali village of Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. The deceased has been identified as 44-year-old Surjit Singh, a resident of village Aliyan. Fatehgarh Sahib Police has started an investigation into this matter. Police teams have been formed to nab the culprits of the murder and soon the mystery of this murder will be solved.

Giving information in this regard, SPD Fatehgarh Sahib Rakesh Yadav said that the deceased was a daily wage earner. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and found that the said person’s throat had been cut with a sharp weapon and the police have started an investigation.
He said that at first glance, this matter seems to be a mutual grudge. A forensic team has been called. Evidence is being collected from the spot. The murder has been committed with a sharp weapon.
