Anant Singh arrested in Dularchand Murder, family demands justice

After the arrest of JDU candidate Anant Singh in the murder case of Jan Suraj Party worker Dularchand Yadav, the deceased’s grandson Neeraj Yadav has raised questions on the police and the government. He has demanded immediate arrest of the remaining accused and death penalty for Anant Singh.

Expressing his concern, Neeraj Yadav, grandson of Dularchand Yadav, said, ‘Anant Singh has been arrested, but his ‘four disciples’ (the remaining four accused) are roaming freely. They are a threat to my life. There is a conspiracy behind this and many people are involved in this matter.

Accusing the government, Neeraj said, ‘I think the government is also involved in this. Right now only one person has been arrested and the remaining four will be arrested after November 6. Demanding justice for his grandfather, he said, ‘I want Anant Singh to get death penalty. I just want justice, have no political ambitions.

Anant Singh’s arrest

Patna Police arrested JDU candidate and former MLA Anant Singh from Mokama in the early hours of Sunday in connection with the murder of Dularchand Yadav. Under the leadership of Patna’s SSP, the police took action at his residence in Barh.

Along with Anant Singh, two others, Manikant Thakur and Ranjit Ram, have also been arrested. All three will be presented before the magistrate soon.

Dularchand Yadav died in a clash in Mokama

Dularchand Yadav died on Thursday during election campaigning in Mokama. According to the post-mortem report, he died due to a burst lung and multiple rib fractures. This incident has happened just before the Bihar Assembly elections, which has increased political tension in the state.
