Jasprit Bumrah remains the world’s number-1 Test bowler in the latest ICC rankings. But his number-1 position is under threat. Pakistan’s spinner Nauman Ali is giving him a tough challenge. Whereas in the women’s ODI rankings, India’s Smriti Mandhana is at the top of the batsmen’s rankings. Kuldeep Yadav has suffered a loss in the bowling rankings while Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma remain in the top-5 of the ODI batting rankings.
Pakistan spinner Nauman Ali has made a huge leap in the Test bowling rankings. He has become the world’s number-2 Test bowler by jumping four places. Nauman Ali is now just 29 points behind Bumrah in terms of ratings points. Apart from Bumrah, there is no Indian in the list of top 10 bowlers of Test. In the Test batting rankings, Shubman Gill has moved up one place to 12th.
