In Davangere district of Karnataka, a minor boy from the tribal community was tied to a tree on charges of theft. The incident took place on 4 April from Astapanhali village of Channagiri taluka. Nine people have been arrested after the video of the case went viral.
According to initial information, the teenager belongs to the Hakki Picky tribe. Some people of this community first took off the clothes of the teenager and beaten him with a betel nut. After this, red ants were put in her underwear.
