There is a lot of activity visible in Uttar Pradesh from the upcoming Panchayat elections to the assembly elections of the year 2027. In this sequence, BSP supremo sister Mayawati demonstrated strength and gave many political messages on the occasion of the death anniversary of Honorable Kanshi Ram. On the one hand, sister Mayawati surprised political analysts by praising Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in her public meeting and on the other hand, she has also announced to contest the next assembly elections without any alliance. Looking at the show of strength of BSP, it is being estimated that Samajwadi Party is going to suffer loss due to increasing strength of BSP in the upcoming assembly elections. Sister Mayawati not only praised UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath but also said that if the slogan of self-reliant India and Swadeshi does not prove, then she will completely stand with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sister Mayawati’s rally indicates that sister Mayawati, adopting her 2007 strategy, will again enter the electoral fray on the basis of social justice. By gathering the crowd in his rally, he has given the message that his core votebank Jatav and Dalits are still with him, even though at present he has only one MLA and only 9 percent votes in the assembly. Sister Mayawati appeared soft towards BJP and warm towards SP and Congress in her rally. In his rally, he fiercely attacked Congress and SP and said that Congress is doing drama on the Constitution. Congress had insulted the Constitution made by Baba Saheb by imposing emergency on the country. Congress never respected Baba Saheb. When he was in the Central Government, they tried to implicate him in the Income Tax and CBI investigations so that the caravan of Dr. Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram could be stopped. Now people of the same Congress are doing drama with a copy of the Constitution in their hands. Making a scathing attack on SP, sister Mayawati said that Dalits and backward classes were harassed the most under SP government. He attacked the anarchy of the SP government.

Along with the launch of sister Mayawati’s nephew Akash Anand in the BSP rally, Kapil Mishra, son of Satishchandra Mishra, the leader considered closest to Mayawati, has also been launched. Mayawati also praised his work. Apart from Satishchandra Mishra, Umashankar Singh was also given a place on the stage to create caste equations. It is commendable that sister Mayawati and her workers were preparing for this rally in a very calm and disciplined manner. BSP and sister Mayawati make contact among their voters very intelligently and this is the reason that their vote bank has remained safe to a great extent; However, after 2017, there has been a dent in the Jatav voters and it is a difficult challenge for Bahin ji to bring them back by convincing them. Due to Bahinji’s name and voice being away from central politics for a long time, people like Chandrashekhar “Ravan” have emerged in Dalit politics, who are staking claim on the traditional voteback of BSP.
Even though the BSP supremo has stressed that all efforts will be made to form the BSP government in the state in the upcoming elections, but it does not seem possible at the moment because based on the political equation of BSP, they will need at least 30 percent votes to gain power and currently it is only 9 percent. In the current circumstances of the state, after hard work on the ground by BSP workers, this vote percentage can reach 15-20. The way sister ji praised Yogi ji from the open platform can also be harmful for BSP because it is possible that the Muslim voters of the state may prefer to go with the SP alliance.
Even though BSP leader Mayawati’s claim of coming into government on her own in 2027 may be an exaggeration, this has put an end to the discussions about SP-BSP alliance in 2027. Besides, sister’s claim has brought deep tension for the SP alliance and relief for the BJP.
