Israeli forces stopped the Gaza-bound Global Sumud flotilla and detained several activists, including Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, The Times of Israel reported. The Global Sumud Flotilla, made up of about 50 small ships carrying approximately 500 people, politicians and activists, is carrying a symbolic amount of humanitarian aid, mainly food and medicine, to the besieged Palestinians in Gaza.
