The news of his demise was shared by former Deputy Chief Minister and MP of Punjab Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on his X account on Thursday evening. Bodybuilder and actor Varinder Singh Ghuman passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 42. Former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister and MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa confirmed his demise on Thursday evening and shared an emotional message on his X account.
Varinder, known for his muscular physique and dedication towards fitness, was seen in Salman Khan’s film Tiger 3 in 2023.
Singer Mankirat Aulakh also paid tribute through two emotional posts. In a video, he shared several pictures of Varinder and wrote, “Goodbye Vade Bai, RIP Varinder Ghuman @veervarindersinghghuman.”
In the second video, he told that due to a back injury, he could not attend the funeral of singer Rajveer Jawanda. Not only were they mourning the demise of Rajveer, they were also extremely saddened to hear the news of Varinder’s demise. He told that just a few days ago, Varinder was sharing videos while helping in relief work for the flood victims and now tributes are being paid in his memory.
Senior actress Nirmal Rishi also condoled his demise, writing, “Another shining star is gone…The memories of actor and bodybuilder Varinder Ghuman will always live in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.”

Meanwhile, a report in The Tribune said that Varinder died during treatment at Fortis Hospital in Amritsar. A senior doctor confirmed that Varinder breathed his last at around 5.30 pm on October 10.
Varinder was an Indian professional bodybuilder and actor. Varinder Singh Ghuman won the title of Mister India in 2009 and was ranked second in Mister Asia. She made her Punjabi film debut with Kabaddi Once More, which released in 2012. He appeared in other Bollywood films such as Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans (2014) and Marjaavaan (2019).
