Addressing a joint press conference after bilateral talks with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Mumbai, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India-UK bilateral relations are reaching new heights after the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA). He said that there has been significant progress in relations between India and Britain under the leadership of Prime Minister Starmer. During my visit to Britain this July, we signed the historic Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

Prime Minister Modi further said that today, along with Prime Minister Starmer, the largest and most influential delegation from the education sector has come so far. It is a matter of great pleasure that nine UK universities are now ready to open their campuses in India. Prime Minister Modi said, the largest summit of business leaders took place between India and Britain yesterday. Today, we will address the India-UK CEO Forum and Global Fintech Festival. All this will reveal suggestions and possibilities to further strengthen India-UK cooperation.
