India was united only during the time of Aurangzeb, controversial statement of Pak minister

Pakistan Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said in an interview on Tuesday that the dangers of war with India are real. In this interview he once again made many provocative statements. This comment came after the warning of Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi in which he had said that if Pakistan does not stop supporting terrorism then the Indian Army will not show any restraint this time. In an interview with Sama TV, Asif also made bizarre claims about India’s history and Pakistan’s ‘unity’ during the conflict. “I don’t want to escalate tensions, but the risks are real, and I’m not denying that,” he said. If war comes, by the grace of God we will achieve better results than before.

The Defense Minister then claimed that India has never been a united nation and although Pakistanis argue and fight in their own country, they unite during a conflict with New Delhi. He said that history is witness to the fact that except during the reign of Aurangzeb, India has never been a united nation. Pakistan was created in the name of Allah. In our country we debate and compete. We stand united in the fight with India. Asif’s latest inflammatory statements come after a series of comments he had made earlier, where he told Sama TV that any future Indian aggression would be met with an even bigger response from Pakistan.

Asif’s comments appear to be in response to a warning from Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi, who had cautioned Pakistan that it would have to stop supporting terrorism if it wants to survive on the world map. General Dwivedi said that India is fully prepared this time. We will not show the restraint shown during Operation Sindoor 1.0. This time the action will be such that Pakistan will have to think whether it wants to exist geographically.
