Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh on Wednesday said that the NDA is ready to return to power under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Speaking to reporters, Ranjan said that the announcement of election dates is a very good thing. We were waiting for this. On November 14, NDA government will be formed again in Bihar under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.

Voting for 243 assembly seats will be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11, and counting of votes will take place on November 14. Taking aim at Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, Singh compared his repeated claims of becoming the chief minister to Mungrilal’s dream. He said, “Everyone has the right to dream, but the people of Bihar have seen the rule of their parents and the 15 years that followed. They will not be misled now.”

JDU leader Khalid Anwar said that the people of Bihar are ready and it is a democratic state. The public is going with the one who is honest, who has served, who has taken Bihar forward. Everything is fine in NDA…we will contest the elections with strength. Earlier today, Chhattisgarh BJP MLA Bhavana Bohra said that the people of the state will “create history” on November 14, as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is expected to form the government in Bihar once again. Bohra told ANI, “The people of Bihar are going to create history on November 14. The NDA government in Bihar has consistently done good work. Be it women’s safety, youth or Kisan Samman Nidhi, history will definitely be created. On November 14, the NDA government will once again be formed in Bihar.”

On Monday, the Election Commission announced the Bihar Assembly election schedule. Voting for 243 assembly seats will be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11 and counting of votes will take place on November 14. Apart from announcing the schedule of Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has decided to conduct Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists across the country. Bihar’s 243 assembly seats will go to polls in two phases on November 6 and November 11, and counting of votes will take place on November 14.
