Mohsin Naqvi arrives at Abrar Ahmed’s wedding, gives shameless reaction on trophy theft

Pakistani cricketer Abrar Ahmed got married in Karachi which was also attended by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. He has been in the news for the last several days because of the Asia Cup 2025 trophy. Even at Abrar’s wedding, he could not escape this question when a journalist asked him whether Suryakumar Yadav had not refused to take the trophy. Another question asked to Naqvi was what is the future of Asia Cup? On this, a shameless reaction was seen from the ACC President.

Actually, the final match of Asia Cup 2025 was played between India and Pakistan on 28 September. Which India won and also won the trophy. Team India, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, had refused to accept the trophy from Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Mohsin Naqvi. After which Mohsin Naqvi took the Asia Cup trophy with himself. At present, he is also the head of ACC.

When Naqvi reached Abrar’s wedding, many Pakistani players were also present. While leaving the wedding, the journalist asked him that Suryakumar Yadav had denied that he had not refused to take the trophy. Naqvi was seen laughing shamelessly on this and the journalist asked him what is the future of Asia Cup. The PCB Chief kept laughing on this too, but did not say anything.

However, BCCI is taking legal advice in this matter. Even in the ACC meeting, BCCI asked Mohsin Naqvi questions about this. Naqvi had said that Suryakumar Yadav can come to his office and collect the trophy. On this, BCCI had clearly refused that when the trophy was not taken from them in the stadium, then there was no question of coming to the office and taking the trophy.
