Russian havoc in Ukraine, 5 citizens were killed, outcry from Laviv to Japorijia

A major attack on nine regions of Ukraine by Russia on Saturday night killed at least five civilians and the civil infrastructure suffered heavy damage. Officials said the attack was mainly carried out using missiles, drones and bombs.
Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonsky informed on Sunday morning that Moscow fired around 500 drones and more than 50 ballistic missiles.

Lawy and Japorizia havoc

The city of Western Ukraine was the most affected in the attack. According to regional officials and Ukraine’s emergency service, four people died and at least four others were injured in Lviv.
Lviv’s Mayor Andry Sadovi said that due to the attack, electricity failed in two districts in the early hours of Sunday and public transport was interrupted for a few hours. A commercial complex also caught fire on the outskirts of Laviv.
At the same time, a woman was killed and nine others, including a 16 -year -old girl, were injured in the night air strike in the southern city of Japorizia, as Governor Ivan Fedorov said.

Railway stations also attacked

Russia has intensified the attacks on Ukraine’s railway and electric grids. In another incident on Saturday, one person was killed and dozens of others were injured in a Russian drone attack at a railway station.
President Jelnesky had said that at least 30 people were injured in a drone attack at the railway station in the city Shostka, about 70 km from the Russian border, in the north-east of Kiev.
