Two youths were killed and five others were injured in a collision with two motorcycles coming face to face in Baghokhat police station area of Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the police, two motorcycles collided face to face near a culvert near Talwar village on the Baghokhat-Pakha road at around 1:30 pm on Thursday. A total of seven people were injured in this accident. One of these two motorcycles was four, while on the other three youths were riding. Local people reported the accident to Baghouchghat police station.
On receiving the information, the police station officer Vishal Upadhyay reached the spot along with the police force and the team of Dial 112 and took all the injured to the Community Health Center (CHC) Baghochaghat for primary treatment. From there, the doctors referred all the injured to Deoria Medical College in critical condition.
On reaching the medical college, the doctors declared Shivam (17) resident of Ramnagar and Shambhu (21) resident of Koalswa. Other injured Vikas Sahni (17), Nitish Sahni (18), Amit Yadav (18), Rakesh Kushwaha (16), Dinesh Yadav (15) are undergoing treatment at the medical college.
These people are residents of Koilaswa village. Baghouchghat Police Station Vishal Upadhyay said that the bodies of both the dead have been sent for post -mortem and further action is being taken.
