The festival of Dussehra is not just a celebration, but a golden memory of childhood for actress Mannara Chopra, who became famous with reality show Bigg Boss 17. Mannara, who grew up in Delhi, still considers the days of going to see Ramlila with her late father Raman Rai Handa. The 34-year-old actress feels depth of Delhi’s vibrancy, social interaction and the spirit of sharing happiness among the people during this season.
Mannara said that if you live in India, it is about celebrating with your family, friends and people seen in pandals and stalls. I remember the time when I used to go with my father in my childhood. He used to take me, my sister and cousin and sisters along because relatives also come on festivals. We used to go to see Ramlila and come back, we used to buy bow and arrows, swords and everything possible from those shops. The actress also recalls the spirit of going to social ceremonies.

Expressing love for her country, she says, ‘I feel very good how people meet and interact despite being unaware of each other. This is the vibrancy that we want to give to the next generation. ‘
Actress also commented on the festive atmosphere of Delhi, saying that in a city like Delhi, I see more fairs than ever. This time more than 100 fairs have been organized in Delhi. This gives people a lot of employment and of course people also get a rite. They believe that this happiness persists till Diwali and it is very good to see the city shining.

Despite suffering personal damage from her father’s death earlier this year, Mannara takes responsibility for sharing happiness. She ensures that she comes back to Delhi and meet all relatives, especially her sister Mithali Handa and maintains this season of festivals.
