Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge admitted to the hospital, son Priyank said- stable and good

Priyank Kharge, son of Karnataka IT minister and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, shared an update on his father’s health, saying that his condition is stable and he is feeling good. In a post on X on Wednesday, Priyank said that Kharge has been advised to put pacemaker and has been admitted to the hospital for the prescribed process. Their condition is stable and they are feeling good.

Mallikarjun Kharge, president of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), was admitted to a hospital in Bangalore for treatment on Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, Kharge will visit Kohima on 7 October and address a public meeting at Naga Solidarity Park. Lok Sabha MP and Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee President S Supangmerran Jamir made this announcement during a press conference at Congress Bhavan in Kohima.
According to Jamir, the Congress expects at least 10,000 people to gather in this rally. The program based on the theme, “Safe democracy, safe secularism and safe Nagaland”, will also highlight major issues such as youth employment, entrepreneurship, good governance and road connectivity. The statement said that after the rally, there will be separate meetings between Kharge and Congress Committee on Political Affairs, Supporting Committee and Presidents of District Congress Committees (DCC).

The Congress MP stressed that this rally is not only a party ceremony, but also a political platform to resolve the challenges faced by Nagaland and Northeast. He appealed to the citizens, especially minorities, to join the rally and give voice to their concerns, which he said that the regional leaders would carry forward. Kharge will be accompanied by Congress General Secretary (Organization) KC Venugopal and party’s Nagaland in -charge, Odisha MP Saptagiri Shankar Ulaka and other national leaders. Jamir underlined that the rally is the beginning of the comprehensive campaign of the Congress in the region, in which the party is taking a tough stand on issues such as the Armed Forces (Privileges) Act (AFSPA), governance and constitutional rights.
