Emperor of armies in Kutch: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will assess preparations

The Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh can participate in a cultural program and multi-agency capacity practice at Bhuj military station and Lucky Nala military post on October 1 and 2. This exercise is being conducted under the aegis of the Southern Command Headquarters. Senior officers of Army Headquarters, Southern Command officials and Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard and Border Security Force personnel will also participate in it.

The ministry said that a cultural program and multi-agency capacity exercise will be conducted on 1 and 2 October 2025 under the aegis of the Southern Command Headquarters at Bhuj military station and Lucky Nala Military Outpost. The Honorable Defense Minister of India, Shri Rajnath Singh, will also increase this program. Various senior officers of Army Headquarters and officers of Southern Command Headquarters and Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard and BSF personnel will participate in this exercise.

Earlier in the day, Rajnath Singh emphasized the need for more integration for the Indian Army and the need for a standardized system to effectively cope with cyber attacks, information war and emerging security challenges. Addressing the Tri-Seva Seminar held in New Delhi, Singh assured full support from the Ministry of Defense for this system. Addressing the seminar, Singh said that our armed forces have developed audit systems from years of experience … In today’s integrated campaigns, it is important that these systems remain uninterrupted among themselves.

He said that working by staying isolated can present a big challenge in deciding … An integrated system will also increase the confidence of the army … Today, we are facing the threat of cyber attacks and information war … We have to set standards for them. When we talk about standardization, it does not mean that the armed forces will lose their identity … We cannot implement the same process on every army … We have to develop a system that coordinate the work of the three armies … I believe that we will discuss this. The Ministry of Defense will provide all possible assistance.
