Anticipatory bail rejected in fraud case

On Friday, a Delhi court rejected Parthasarathy’s anticipatory bail plea in the case of financial irregularities. The case was registered on the basis of the complaint of Sringeri Math administration.
The Sringeri Math and the police also told the court that after the FIR was registered for embezzling the money, the Parthasarathi had run away with the money. He had also withdrawn about 55 lakh rupees from the bank and even got a fake passport made by different names.
An initial investigation in December 2024 was revealed that it had cheated and rigged properties and money related to Peetham (Sri Sringeri Math).
In 2010, Parthasarathy fraudulently formed another trust named Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management Research Foundation Trust, while the AICTE -recognized trust was named only Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management Research.
He is accused of embezzling assets and funds worth about 20 crores of Peetham, as all the earnings were deposited in the newly created trust account.
