NIA attached terrorist’s immovable properties in Kashmir

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) attacked the immovable properties of a terrorist of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) on Friday, which included the supply of weapons and ammunition to the active members of the banned organization to promote terrorist activities in Kashmir.

On the order of a special court of NIA in Jammu, the agency seized the immovable properties of Tariq Ahmed Mir. Mir was arrested in April in a case of terrorism.

The properties seized include a store of a concrete built on 780 square feet of land and a piece of eight marla land in Maldera village of Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, a piece of eight marla land, which is a garden-shaped. This information has been given in a statement issued by the investigating agency.

A charge sheet was filed in the NIA court in October 2024 against Mir, a member of Pakistan -based terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen member Syed Naveed Mushtaq.

The statement said, today the attachment of property was part of the NIA action against the terrorist network active in Kashmir with a view to disrupt India’s peace, stability and harmony.
