Kalyani Priyadarshan’s superhero Malayalam action film ‘Loca Chapter 1 – Chandra’, which was released in theaters on August 28, is making headlines for its unique story and box office performance at the box office. Taking a surprising step, the manufacturers announced the second installment, ‘Loca Chapter 2’ by sharing a special video on social media on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
Dulkar Salman also shared the announcement on his X handle and wrote, “Beyond the myths. A new chapter beyond the legends.

Official announcement of Loca Chapter 2
This video of 2 minutes 55 seconds begins with Towino’s Michael and Dulker’s Charlie Drinking toddy in the safehouse of Charlie. Michael asks Charlie why he does not call him sometimes, at least 50 or 100 years, why not call him. Charlie tells him that he is not interested in it because Michael feels boring when he drinks. Michael replies, “This toddy is a common feast for we, not only for me, but also for my 389 brothers who are old alcoholic.”

Then Michael Charlie shows the book “Liv Amang As”, which is shown in Chapter 1 – Chandra of “Loca”, and says, “The first chapter is about him. Kalliankattu Nili, Meri Dear.” Joking about Chapter 2, he mentions Hitler and Charlie’s battle, in which Charlie looks like no interest. Michael says that his brother has been ‘released’ and he is violent, not ‘fun’ like him. Charlie also calls him ‘crazy’.
When Charlie refuses to help Michael and calls it ‘family problems’, he replies, “Brother, are we not all a family?” As soon as Charlie leaves, Michael tries to shake her and says, “I know you will come. If you don’t come, the Chathan will bring you.” The video ends, indicating a new villain.
Like Loca 1, the second part, Loca 2 will be directed by Dominic Arun and Dulkar will produce it under Wafer Films.
