In Jaswantnagar area of Etawah district, a person was allegedly attacked with brick and killed during a dispute. The police gave this information on Friday. According to the police, the villagers saw the bloody dead body of Pradeep Kumar (42) on Thursday in Majra village of Birampur of Jaswantnagar police station area.
The villagers informed the police about this. Sanjay Singh, in -charge of the police station, reached the spot after receiving the information. The station in -charge said that Pradeep is unmarried and lived alone in the village, while his mother lives somewhere else with his brothers.
Jaswant Nagar Police Officer (CO) Ayushi Singh said that on the basis of interrogation, the police interrogated Hanumantkheda resident Devendra alias Pappi in custody, and he confessed to the murder.
Singh said that the accused confessed that he had a fight with Pradeep, so he got angry and killed him with brick. Police have started investigation by sending the body for postmortem.
