Amidst the ongoing investigation into the case of molestation at a private management institute in Delhi, a 21-year-old scholarship student told how the accused 62-year-old Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati alias Swami Parthasarathy sent him objectionable messages and commented on his appearance. According to The Indian Express, the student has told in the FIR that she had a conversation with Swayambhu Baba and the president of the institute for the first time last year when she was the Chancellor there.
In her complaint, the woman alleged that Chaitanyanand had seen her with “strange” eyes during the first meeting. He told that after some injuries, he sent a message to him to share his medical report, which was answered by the accused at night.
The woman alleged that one of her messages wrote, “Baby, I love you. I like you very much, today you look very beautiful.” Also, he praised her hair. In addition, the woman alleged that the accused tagged her previous message in a separate message and urged her to answer. When he told the Associate Dean about this, he was asked to answer, and the woman alleged that the same thing was told to other students.

In a message, ‘Swami Chaitanyanand’ lures a woman with lure of money. In the second message he threatens to give less marks to someone else; “… If you will not listen to me, I will fail you …” Based on the investigation and recovered messages so far, the police believe that ‘Swami Chaitanyanand’, born in Parthasarathy, Odisha, has been hunting women for at least 16 years, and her courage has increased after escaping two tampering cases recorded in 2009 and 2016.

Delhi Ashram molestation case: FIR details received

According to the FIR received by CNN-News18, Chaitanyanand sexually assaulted and tortured the students of the students, especially the economically weaker sections, and tortured them. The FIR claimed that many girl students were forced to go abroad with them, where they were asked to come to her room late at night. The students who turned down his request were threatened with withdrawing their degrees and documents. In the FIR, Dean’s associate Shweta and two others are also named as partners. Also, students have been threatened with suspension and expulsion. The FIR states that a student was also forced to change her name against her wish.

Delhi Ashram molestation case

A self-proclaimed religious leader of a private management institute located in Vasant Kunj, Southwest Delhi and “President” have been booked for sexually assaulting 17 girl students of the institute run by Shri Sharda Peetham in Shringeri, Karnataka. According to the police, Chaitanyanand Shri Sharda is a ‘operator’ at the Indian Institute of Management. He allegedly targeted the students who got admission under the Economically weaker section (EWS) quota and threatened to fail them in the examination. He also wooed them by promising foreign trips. The police have formed several teams to catch him and also issued a lookout circular to prevent him from escaping from the country. The National Commission for Women has taken cognizance of the case.

A case has been registered against the accused under Section 75 (2) (sexual harassment) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), 79 (words, gestures or acts) and 351 (2) (criminal intimidation) at Section 75 (2) (sexual harassment) of the Indian Code (BNS), 79 (a woman’s dignity). Saraswati was also helped by three women warden, which forced the students to accept her demands and also pressurize the students to delete the messages sent by her. He has been made co-accused in the FIR. The accused has written 28 books, including the preambles and reviews written by prominent personalities.
